==DISCUSSION==

HEAVY, RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WITH REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN

HEAVY SNOW AND LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW, BEGINNING LATE THURSDAY

AFTERNOON AND ENDING OVERNIGHT FRIDAY.

A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN ALBERTA WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHERN

SASKATCHEWAN THURSDAY BRINGING HEAVY, RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL

TO PARTS OF WESTERN AND SOUTH-CENTRAL MANITOBA. THE HEAVIEST

SNOWFALL WILL BEGIN THURSDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY

MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF OVERNIGHT FRIDAY. TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE

EXPECTED TO BEGIN TO DETERIORATE THURSDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE

THROUGHOUT THE DAY FRIDAY. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED IN HEAVY

SNOWFALL AND LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW.

GENERALLY 10-20 CM OF FRESH SNOW IS EXPECTED BY FRIDAY EVENING

ALTHOUGH THERE REMAINS UNCERTAINTY IN THE EXACT TRACK OF THE

HEAVIEST SNOW, WITH THE CITIES OF BRANDON AND WINNIPEG ON THE EDGE

OF THE AXIS OF HEAVIEST SNOW.

SNOWFALL WARNINGS WILL LIKELY BE ISSUED FOR PARTS OF SOUTHERN

MANITOBA AS THE EVENT NEARS AND CONFIDENCE INCREASES.
