WHAT: 

ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 5 CM. 

RISK OF FREEZING RAIN. 



WHEN: 

ENDING LATE THIS MORNING. 



ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

SNOW MAY MIX WITH ICE PELLETS AT TIMES THROUGH THIS MORNING, 

PARTICULARLY FOR LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM GOGAMA TO 

KIRKLAND LAKE. THERE IS ALSO A RISK OF FREEZING RAIN FOR THESE AREAS 

EARLY THIS MORNING. 



CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE LATE THIS MORNING AS THE WEATHER SYSTEM 

EXITS THE PROVINCE.



CONSIDER POSTPONING NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE. 

RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOW COULD MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT OVER SOME 

LOCATIONS. SURFACES SUCH AS HIGHWAYS, ROADS, WALKWAYS AND PARKING 

LOTS WILL BECOME ICY, SLIPPERY AND HAZARDOUS. IF VISIBILITY IS 

REDUCED WHILE DRIVING, SLOW DOWN, WATCH FOR TAIL LIGHTS AHEAD AND BE 

PREPARED TO STOP.
