A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN MONTANA WILL MOVE INTO THE US NORTHERN PLAINS STATES TONIGHT BRINGING HEAVY, RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL TO PARTS OF WESTERN AND SOUTH-CENTRAL MANITOBA. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL BEGIN THURSDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF OVERNIGHT FRIDAY. TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN TO DETERIORATE THURSDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE DAY FRIDAY. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED IN HEAVY SNOWFALL AND LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW.
