SNOWFALL WITH TOTAL AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 20 CM IS EXPECTED.



HEAVY, RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WITH REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN 

HEAVY SNOW AND LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW CONTINUES TONIGHT AND ENDS 

OVERNIGHT FRIDAY. 



A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN MONTANA WILL MOVE INTO THE US 

NORTHERN PLAINS STATES TONIGHT BRINGING HEAVY, RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING 

SNOWFALL TO PARTS OF WESTERN AND SOUTH-CENTRAL MANITOBA. THE 

HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL BEGIN THURSDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE INTO 

FRIDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF OVERNIGHT FRIDAY. TRAVEL 

CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN TO DETERIORATE THURSDAY EVENING AND 

CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE DAY FRIDAY. VISIBILITIES WILL BE REDUCED IN 

HEAVY SNOWFALL AND LOCALIZED BLOWING SNOW. 



GENERALLY 10 TO 20 CM OF FRESH SNOW IS EXPECTED BY FRIDAY EVENING 

WITH AMOUNTS POSSIBLY EXCEEDING 20 CM ALONG THE EASTERN SLOPES OF 

THE RIDING, AND DUCK MOUNTAINS AS WELL AS THE SWAN HILLS.



BE PREPARED TO ADJUST YOUR DRIVING WITH CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS. 

PREPARE FOR QUICKLY CHANGING AND DETERIORATING TRAVEL CONDITIONS. 

RAPIDLY ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT.
